This partnership is a major milestone for Loaloa, representing the company's first large-scale enterprise agreement. The goal of the project is to consolidate IRCA’s videos, documents, and images into a single central platform, making them easily accessible to staff and ready for publishing on multiple platforms.
The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration has a rich history spanning decades and plays a critical role in developing Iceland's infrastructure. Its operations generate a massive volume of reports, research papers, and promotional material, alongside an extensive photo and video library documenting the evolution of Icelandic transport. However, because these valuable assets have historically been scattered across various legacy systems and network drives, managing and locating them has become a major challenge. The need to preserve and unlock access to these historical and operational assets has never been more urgent.
Bridging heritage and modern intelligence
By leveraging Loaloa's platform, valuable data will be rescued from legacy environments and migrated into a secure, modern cloud infrastructure. The platform utilizes Loaloa's core Archive Intelligence solution which leverages cutting-edge technology to make all assets fully searchable using natural language and automated image recognition.
The project will be rolled out in structured phases, concluding with IRCA's vast library of photographs. The end result will be an active intelligence layer, allowing this historic public institution to utilize its rich heritage and daily operational data more efficiently than ever before.
